All-star weekend is here! And it’s the first all-star game played in Queens since 1964!
Head out to the Javitz Center starting today for the ‘All-Star Fanfest,’ with autographs from Mets legends and baseball related games for the whole family.
All-Star Sunday at Citi Field starts at 2pm with the Futures Game followed by the celebrity softball game, including Chris Rock, Kevin James and our own Boomer Esiason!
By the way, the Mets have chosen Tom Seaver to throw out the first pitch at the 2013 All Star game this Tuesday at Citi Field!
Seaver said he’s been throwing in his vineyard every day to prepare for the first pitch and he will also serve as the grand marshal in the All-Star parade.
