NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Mets starting pitcher Matt Harvey is back in the news again — for the wrong reasons.
The 25-year-old ace, likely out for the season after undergoing Tommy John surgery, tweeted a picture of himself to mark the six-month anniversary of the operation.
Nothing wrong with that, right?
The catch: The hard-throwing right-hander is seen giving the middle finger in the photo. Maybe not the wisest thing to post for the world to see.
Harvey not only deleted the tweet, but deleted his Twitter account. You can see an image of the deleted Tweet and photo at CBS New York.
